The people of Ambazonia have endured decades of injustice, repression, and displacement. Throughout this period, their cry for freedom has been carried by many voices — yet often in fragmented and competing forms. This has created confusion among Ambazonians themselves and among international partners seeking clarity on who legitimately speaks for the nation.
The establishment of the Parliament of the Republic of Ambazonia has resolved this challenge. The Ambazonian Parliament is the sole and exclusive legislative authority of the Ambazonian people, created to unify the movement and give the nation a single, credible voice before the world.
Parliament as the lawful representative
Through law, the Parliament has formally recognized all major liberation entities, including the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC), Ambazonia Governing Council (AGov-C), African People’s Liberation Movement (APLM), SOCADEF, MORISC, and the Interim Government factions.
Each group holds legitimacy inside Parliament and enjoys full immunity until due process determines otherwise. This guarantees that international partners can engage with one institution — Parliament — without being drawn into factional disputes.
Why international engagement must go through Parliament
Attempts to negotiate or engage outside of Parliament risk empowering factionalism, fueling division, and undermining the sovereignty Ambazonians seek. Only through Parliament can international partners be assured that:
- They are engaging with all Ambazonian voices represented collectively.
- Any agreements reached carry the weight of national legitimacy.
- Decisions are backed by lawful parliamentary process, not unilateral claims.
This clarity strengthens both Ambazonia’s credibility and the trust of international stakeholders.
A permanent fixture of unity
The Ambazonian Parliament is now a permanent fixture of national unity. Propaganda or parallel initiatives cannot replace it. All groups — whether historically divided or recently reconstituted — are bound together under the authority of the House.
This framework ensures that Ambazonia presents one message to the world: our people are united, our governance is lawful, and our sovereignty is represented through Parliament.
Conclusion
For international partners, the way forward is clear. The Parliament of the Republic of Ambazonia is the only lawful representative body of the Ambazonian people.
All diplomatic engagement with Ambazonia must be conducted through its Parliament.
This is not business as usual. This is the assurance that Ambazonia speaks with one voice, one authority, and one legitimate representative body before the international community.
